The Other White Meat!!!

It's tough!!! A few years ago now, my husband and I decided to stop eating pork (and all shell fish and fish without scales and loads more stuff). Before we took this step we, especially me, ate everything! At a restaurant, my husband would probably order pork over any other dish; we never had a problem finding food to eat. Oh my goodness! Now, it's almost like every other dish has pork in it in some shape pr form and that's such a drag. I love food, I am just a huge foodie, I love to cook it and I love to eat it; in small amount, since I can't eat a whole pile at a time...but I would if I could ;). I have to ask what's in every dish and I have to pay more attention to the dish description to make sure I am not ordering something that has becon, or becon fat, or bacon something in it. Does anyone have this problem? Perhaps not with pork specifically, but, with something they have decided to give up!
